Misnomers

Misnomer:

1. An error in naming a person or place.
2. 1. Application of a wrong name.
   2. A name wrongly or unsuitably applied to a person or an object.

Alright, try these:

Hamburgers: Not made of ham last I checked

Pocket Books: Don't fit in pocket, also not a book

When people say VIN number or PIN number

incorrect VIN = Vehicle Identification NUMBER
PIN = Personal Identification NUMBER

to say number again after either is redundant
